... sobre LA PINTURA

"La pintura es una tecnología primaria sin apenas maquinaria entre el ser humano y el cuadro, que se convierte por su condición manual en una caligrafía del estado de ánimo, susceptible de variar según la evolución de los pensamientos.

"Esta variación anímica en el tiempo trasladada a la obra, -al igual que en el teatro, la danza, performances, muestras escénicas de diversa índole, la música en directo y cualquier proceso artístico que transcurre- es su razón de ser.

"Además, y a diferencia de las disciplinas mencionadas antes, la pintura no es efímera, es una acción que queda. "

"El cuadro es el escenario del pintor.

"El guión o argumento determina el resultado tanto como la improvisación. La improvisación del trazo puede ser un gesto rápido si se quiere capturar un instante del ánimo, y lento si lo que interesa son sus variaciones."

"La pintura puede ser el lenguaje de los visionarios: hace -visible- el mundo propio de los sueños y la imaginación."
